WWF Journals
In collaboration with WWF Market, we created a special notebook series highlighting three endangered species native to Turkey: the dusky grouper, the green sea turtle, and the heron.
Each notebook carried a message — about the planet, about loss, and about hope.
Three animals. Three artists. One collective voice — brought to life through paper.
– Gamze Yalçın, inspired by the Mediterranean, illustrated the dusky grouper
– Belmin Pilevneli portrayed the heron — a figure deeply rooted in Turkish poetry and folk tradition
– Tuğçe Evirgen Özmen captured the wisdom and quiet rhythm of the green sea turtle
The series was printed on seaweed paper, a sustainable material chosen to echo the project’s environmental purpose.
Sold exclusively through WWF Market, this collection was created in 2020.
